MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry rowing team brought home bronze medals in every event they entered at Miami Beach Rowing Club's Head of Indian Creek head race.

In the club 8 event, Barry's boat (coxswain Jennifer Slatter, stroke Joanna Ball, Kelly Floryan, Aneta Wisniewska, Angelique Ceccon, Ivana Fredotovic, Meg Denholm, Linsey Bierschbach, bow Jayme Peck) finished just :06 seconds behind the "A" boat of Miami with a time of 16:17.71. Miami "A" took first in 16:11.75, while the Hurricanes' "B" boat finished second in 16:12.67. Tampa, two boats from the University of Florida and Florida International rounded out the field.

In the championship 4+, Barry's entry (coxswain Caitlyn Parker, stroke Joanna Ball, Meg Denholm, Kelly Floryan, bow Angelique Ceccon) came in third behind two entries from Miami with a time of 18:13.77. Miami's lead entry, the "B" boat, rowed in at 17:23.36.

In the club 4+, Barry's "A" boat (coxswain Caitlyn Parker, stroke Aneta Wisniewska, Ivana Fredotovic, Jayme Peck, bow Linsey Bierschbach) swept to a third-place finish while the "B" boat (coxswain Jennifer Saltter, stroke Denise Rodriguez, Natalie Williams, Denene Finnerty, bow Laura Allbritten) came in fifth. The "A" boat rowed in at 18:14.31, less than :02 seconds behond the Hurricanes' "A" boat. The "B" entry finished in 18:45.79. Miami's "B" boat took gold in 17:18.54, while Tampa finished fourth in 17:42.24.

The Bucs also sent out two individuals, with Jamye Peck taking third in the championship singles and Ivana Fredotovic capturing third in the lightweight singles.

Barry will travel next weekend to the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Mass.
