Twenty-eight Buccaneers named to SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll

ORLANDO, Fla. --  Sunshine State Conference Commissioner Michael J. Marcil announced on Monday a total of 302 student-athletes named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2006 semester.  Thirty-five members of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll carried a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.           
 
Twenty eight student athletes from Barry were named members of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll in men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.  Barry student-athletes Samara Ferreira (volleyball) and Toyin Ajisafe (men’s soccer) were two of only thirty five members in the SSC to receive a GPA of 4.0. 
 
In order to be eligible, student-athletes must post a minimum grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.0.  Eligible participants named included those student-athletes from men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.
