Dr. Loeffke is currently an adjunct clinical faculty member in Barry’s Physician Assistant Program.
General Loeffke served in the National Security Council at the White House. He also served as the military attaché in Russia and in China and served as the military advisor to the Secretary General of the Organization of American States. He has taught at the U.S. Military Academy and at Georgetown. General Loeffke was a Fellow at Council on Foreign Relations. He is the recipient of four Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Following his retirement from the military, he earned a medical degree and has engaged in missionary medicine in Haiti, Darfur, Bosnia, Kenya and Niger.
