Women's Golf Holds Onto Third Place At Flagler Fall Slam

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers (308-315—623) held onto third place at the Flagler Fall Slam on Tuesday, shooting 315 to finish six strokes off the pace.
 
Saint Leo held off the hard-charging Eagles of Embry-Riddle to claim the team title. The Lions, who fired a 301 on Monday, shot 316 on Tuesday to finish at 617. The Eagles (323-299—622) shot a tournament-low 299 on the final round to jump from ninth to second.
 
Belmont Abbey (307-319—626) fell back to fourth-place, while Lynn (312-319—631) rounded out the top five.
 
Anna Riss of Saint Leo took the individual medalist with a 71-74—145. For the Buccaneers, the top three golfers were separated by just two strokes. Isadora Stapff (76-77—153) finished tied for eighth. Cristina Coll (77-77—154) was one shot back in 11th place, while Anna Haglind (77-78—155) was tied for 12th.
 
Anne Fourdraine (78-83—161) was tied for 30th and Lizzi Over (85-83—168) tied for 57th.
 
The tournament marks the end of the fall season for the Bucs. They will tee off in the spring with the Tusculum Invitational at the Cougar Pointe Golf Club in Kiwah Island, S.C.
 
 
Women's Golf In Third After FIrst Round Of Flagler Fall Slam
 
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.—After the first round of the Flagler Fall Slam, the Barry University women’s golf team is in third place with a 308. The Bucs are a stroke off of second place team Belmont Abbey, and eight strokes behind leader Saint Leo.
 
Isadora Stapff leads the way for the Buccaneers with +4 76 (37-39). Stapff is tied for thirteenth overall.
 
Anna Haglind (37-40) and Cristina Coll (38-39) are a stroke off of Stapff, each with a 76.
 
Anne Fourdraine and Lizzi Over round out the Buccaneer lineup. Fourdraine put up 78 (37-41) while Over shot an 85 (42-43).
 
The final round of the tournament will take place tomorrow.
