On this week’s Instagram Live show, Barry Banter, we’ll be discussing “Leadership Adventures: Global Media Giant to Cool, Entrepreneurial Start-up” with founder and president of Mambo Bablú, Adeline Ferro. Assistant professor of management at Barry’s School of Business, Dr. Dale Hartz, will lead the conversation at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2.
Ms. Ferro is an award-winning international television programming, co-production, and content distribution executive whose three-decade career has included leadership positions at MTV, Paramount, and Telemundo.
In 2017, Ferro and Ivelin Giro founded the lifestyle brand, Mambo Bablú, celebrating the musical style, mambo. Mambo was rooted in Cuba, seasoned in Mexico, and popularized in New York City as a trendsetting musical dance movement in the '50s and '60s. The start-up’s mission is to activate the infectious genre with the Mambo Babalú Big Band, which includes multi Grammy award-winning musicians who bring this classic music to modern audiences.
Make sure to tune in!
