On this week’s Instagram Live show, Barry Banter, we’ll be discussing “Helping Others Through Law, Love, & Leadership” with Elizabeth Ricci, Esq., managing partner at Rambana & Ricci PLLC and Barry alumna.
Senior finance major, Jose Torres, will lead the conversation along with Assistant Professor of Management at Barry’s School of Business, Dr. Dale Hartz, at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24.
Ms. Ricci is a practicing immigration attorney who taught immigration law, legal writing, and administrative law at Barry’s Tallahassee campus. Well known for her pro bono work, she was named the “go-to lawyer for veterans” by the Philadelphia Enquirer. She is a U.S. President-appointed member of the Selective Service System Board, among many other prestigious Boards. Ms. Ricci also speaks frequently to churches about the dangers of human trafficking. She has been featured on Univision and CNN, in The New York Times and many other media outlets.
Ms. Ricci was named a 2020 Barry University Distinguished Alumna. While attending Barry, she majored in International Business and served as the President of Barry’s International Business Association. As part of her major, she worked for the U.S. Trade Center in Mexico City and, after graduation, was a Small Business Development volunteer in the Peace Corps in Guatemala, where she organized women’s communal banks and taught small business development.
