Casa Currasko has been the home of artist and art professor, Angi Curreri and artist, art professor, and landscape architect, Rick Yasko since shortly after they were married in 1986. The house has grown and changed over the years along with the artists and their creative endeavors.
The images shown are of the house in its current state. Color abounds! The house is filled with Angi and Rick's artwork as well as objects and other artists' work they collect. A major kitchen renovation in 2003 inspired two tile installations by Angi inside the kitchen and outside the kitchen door. The beautiful garden is Rick's terrain which continually changes in color, texture, and layout. The property has been certified by Broward County, Florida's Environmental Protection Department as a NatureScape property "that conserves and protects our precious water resources and provides valuable wildlife habitat."
