A Message from the Dean

A Message from the Dean

Dear College of Nursing and Health Sciences Alums,

I will keep this short because I know you are hearing from many businesses, professional groups and utilities these days. I simply want to extend, on behalf of all of the College’s faculty and staff, our wishes and blessings for your health and safety during this demanding time in our history.

To those of you who are on the front line of the battle against COVID-19: there are no words except thank you. All of us at Barry are in awe of your courage, commitment and heroism. The work you are doing in your communities is extraordinary. We could not be more proud of you.

In times such as these, families come together and need each other for support. If there is something you need from your Barry family, please reach out. Many of our faculty are continuing to practice. All of our faculty and staff are working to keep our current students progressing in their programs and expediting the graduation of as many new health care professionals as possible to join you.

My warmest regards,

John McFadden, PhD, CRNA
Dean, College of Nursing and Health Sciences
