Paramedic
Barry has established a 14 month training program leading to a Certificate of Completion. The course, approved by the State of Florida’s Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, provides preparation for the Paramedic certification exam. Instructors, including doctors, nurses, and paramedics, are all pre-screened and hired under Barry University standards.
Pastoral Ministry for Hispanics (MA)

The Physician Assistant program prepares students to become well-trained health care providers who will extend and complement the capabilities of physicians in the delivery of health care. Podiatric Medicine (DPM)

With the many theatre opportunities year round, students are able to practice their performance skills on both the Mainstage and laboratory theatre environments.
Theatre (BFA) Dance Theatre
The Dance Theatre specialization through the Theatre program is designed for students with a performance interest in both Theatre and Dance. The electives provide a diverse selection of dance courses to better prepare students interested in a Theatre Dance Production career. Students have opportunity to participate in annual dance concerts, giving them an advantage of applying their skills through onstage performance.
Theatre (BFA) Technical Theatre
Gain hands-on theatre production experience with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with a specialization in Technical Theatre. Students combine both technical courses and theatre design courses in order to understand the intricate nature of preparing for a performance. Students will also play an integral role in the University's theatrical productions year round, gaining experience that will help them land a job upon graduation.
Theology (BA)
A Bachelor of Arts in Theology offers student the ability to combine their career goals with their faith. Acquire a foundation in Christian thought and practice, and gain an understanding of how the religious system influenced the world. Many graduates of this degree end up working for not-for-profits, social services, churches, hospitals, and other spiritual centers.
Theology (MA)
Program designed for students seeking a degree in preparation for teaching theology in secondary school systems, assuming the position of Director of Religious Education, pursuing further study in doctoral programs, and seeking personal enrichment in theology. The Master of Arts in Theology requires 36 credits. Within their studies, students may pursue specific concentrations in keeping with their ministerial context. These concentrations are in Hispanic/Latino Theology and Ministry and in Liturgical Studies.
Theology (MA) Practical
The Master of Arts in Practical Theology and Ministry is designed to equip students for competent leadership in communities of faith. The program is an advanced degree in theology and integrates theological formation with a lived practice of ministry. The program consists of a core curriculum in Biblical, Systematic, Liturgical, Moral and Practical Theology. The Supervised Ministerial Formation component is designed to give students the theological and ministerial tools necessary for ecclesial ministry in a variety of ministerial settings within the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian communities.
Theology, Certificate in Hispanic / Latino Theology & Ministry
The Certificate in US Hispanic Latino Theology and Ministry program is designed for personal enrichment and a greater understanding of the realities of the Hispanic Latino(a) Catholics. The Institute offers three options, so you can earn a certificate or an advanced degree with a concentration I Hispanic/Latino theology and ministry. Your classes are taught in English, guiding your exploration of US Hispanic/Latino theology from the perspectives of practical theology.
Undecided
Students that are not certain about which academic path to take can consider claiming undecided until the end of their sophomore year. Students are able to sample different areas through the many introductory courses offered in order to determine what degree is right for them. Some introductory courses include Theatre, Computers, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Business, Education and more.

Wastewater Treatment Operation Class C
This course provides you with an understanding of the basic principles required for the proper operation of a domestic wastewater treatment facility. Information presented includes the role and responsibilities of a treatment plant operator, an explanation of why wastes must be treated, and detailed descriptions of the equipment and processes used in a wastewater treatment plant.
Water Treatment Operation Class C
This is an entry level course for the student just beginning studies in the water treatment field. This course covers the fundamental principles involved in water treatment plant operation.
