PACE/Dean’s Award 2020/Katherine Fitz-Henley Wilson

Mrs. Fitz-Henley Wilson has been a staunch supporter of her fellow BSO students and is happy to share notes, check on those who are missing from class, and otherwise act like a caring “mother hen” to her colleagues at BSO and Barry, helping them to balance work and school, so neither suffers. Barry has her to thank for being the glue that not only aids our students in successfully reaching graduation, but heals the wounds that we as faculty and staff do not even know exist. Mrs. Fitz-Henley Wilson and her husband developed a “We Believe in You Scholarship” intended for a young man in the annual Zeta Cotillion who is struggling through school or life but has a dream to do better. Monthly, Ms. Wilson provides a dinner to a student participant in the cotillion and donates a cotillion dress to someone in need. Mrs. Fitz-Henley Wilson is an angel, bettering the lives she touches.
