Barry University’s Physician Assistant Program has been awarded 10 years of continued accreditation – the maximum a PA Program can receive – by The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
As part of the continued accreditation process, Barry’s PA Program had to prepare and submit a report of more than 1,000 pages, and representatives from ARC-PA met with faculty, staff and university officials. The review was completed in December and the PA Program was awarded the continued accreditation in March. The next ARC-PA review will take place in March 2016.
Prior to this, the PA Program received the maximum award of seven years of continued accreditation.
