The Darling Beast: “Women’s Empowerment” Facilitated by: Raz Xaidan
Raz Xaidan is a Kurdish creative that works under the name of The Darling Beast. Born in Sweden, but raised in South London, Raz’s roots delve deep into the soils of Kurdistan where her poetry, photography and illustrations resonate with themes of identity, strength, feminism, culture, mental health and resistance. In this professional development, Raz will discuss her personal experience in finding empowerment and influence through visual art, and share how her work and lifestyle has inspired other women in her country to harness their own power and embrace being "loud.
