The University is working with our technology partner, Datatel, on a three-year action plan to optimize our current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Colleague. As a result, the ECA has selected a cross functional group to serve on the Datatel Core Committee for the University. The committee represents a cross functional group designed to provide a universal understanding of data ownership and governance. The charge of this committee is to provide the University with recommendations for determining the official version of data and maximizing the overall utilization of the Colleague system.

Over the next three years, this committee will collaborate with University departments, colleges, schools, divisions and various other committees to gain a better understanding of data challenges and opportunities for improvement. The committee will assess current data practices and make recommendations to University leadership for future data standards, process improvements and best practices.
