Synopsis:
The program supports faculty members in the teaching and development of a new course that will foster intellectual community through the study of an enduring question. This question-driven course will encourage undergraduates and teachers to grapple with a fundamental concern of human life addressed by the humanities, and to join together in a deep and sustained program of reading in order to encounter influential thinkers over the centuries and into the present day.
Funding:
Award range is $22,000 to $38,000, depending on the number of project directors.

Media Makers Grant Program: Development Grants and Production Grants

Synopsis:
Development grants enable media producers to collaborate with scholars to develop humanities content and prepare programs for production. Production grants support the production and distribution of digital projects, films, television programs, radio programs, and related programs that have the potential to engage the public.
Funding:
Development Grant: Award range is $40,000 to $75,000.
Production Grant: Award range is $100,000 to $800,000.
