Barry University co-sponsors AIAEE Conference

From April 27 through May 1, Barry University took part in the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education’s (AIAEE) annual conference held in Miami.

Established in 1984, the AIAEE is a professional organization for agricultural and extension educators who share a common goal of strengthening agricultural and extension education programs and institutions worldwide. The AIAEE oversees, generates and disseminates information associated to agricultural extension and education in developed and developing countries, including distribution challenges, problems, and the interconnections in the global economy.

Anita Zavodska, PhD, associate professor of environmental sciences, served as co-chair of the conference and assisted with logistics including conference registration, scheduling, and selecting posters and abstracts. Barry served as the co-sponsor for the event.

Visit the AIAEE homepage for more information about the organization and the annual conference.
