Patrick would have turned 40 years old this year. That’s hard to believe, isn’t it?
Patrick Wayne Lynch accomplished an extraordinary amount in his short life – personally and professionally. His inherent drive to explore (learn), understand (reflect) and engage (serve) led him here to Barry. This is where we met Patrick and this is where we will remember him.
A recent generous contribution to the Patrick W. Lynch Memorial Fund inspired an idea. Let’s give Patrick a permanent home at Barry University, in the very heart of campus, amongst the buildings and students his grants supported. Patrick loved the lush landscaping on campus. He would often walk the long route from his office to his meetings so he could take in the scenery and feel the sun. We would like to create an outside reflection area on Barry’s Miami Shores’ campus, permanently named for our friend, Patrick W. Lynch.
We are encouraging Patrick's friends and colleagues to consider a contribution to the Patrick W. Lynch Memorial Fund. Patrick's family will be in town in October to attend Barry’s 75th Anniversary Birthday Bash. It is our wish to have the outdoor installation completed and named for Patrick in time for his family’s visit.
