What year did you graduate from Barry University?

2016

Which degree did you earn?

Master of Clinical Biology

In a nutshell, what do you do?

I am currently a high school teacher, teaching biology and anatomy. I am also the AP Coordinator for my school.

Why do you love what you do?

I love teaching because it allows me to make a difference. The most important thing is to create a relationship with every student. To quote William Arthur Ward, "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires."

These students are the future, and I have been given the opportunity to help shape their minds into the best that they can be. I am so proud of all my students for all that they have accomplished thus far and wish them all the best in the future!

How did Barry prepare you for the future?

Barry University's faculty and staff showed me how I could be a successful teacher. Each faculty member went over and beyond expectations to make sure I received the best education possible. I strive every day to live up to the standards that they have set.
