Dr. Antonio Fernandez, M.D., Associate Professor for the Biomedical Sciences program in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, will be the chair of the Leadership and Education Management Session at the 14th Annual International Technology, Education and Development (INTED) Conference in Valencia, Spain from March 2-4, 2020.
INTED is one of the largest international education conferences for lecturers, researchers, technologists and professionals from the educational sector. After 14 years, it has become a reference event where more than 700 experts from 80 countries will get together to present their projects and share their knowledge on teaching and learning methodologies and innovations on educational technology. The conference will include special interest sections such as: Experiences in Education, Curriculum Design, Research in Education, Quality Assurance, International Projects, Pedagogical & Didactical Innovations as well as University-Industry Collaboration.
Dr. Fernandez M.D. is an Associate Professor at the Master of Science Biomedical Sciences program. He is a Harvard University Medical School Scholar. He teaches Physiology, Neurosciences, Cardiology and Pharmacology. His research includes Higher Education Leadership, Hematology, and Neurostimulation. He received the 2019 Barry University Faculty Award for Outstanding Scholarship and the Medallion Award base on his distinguished academic and research activities.
