CORAL GABLES, Fla.—The Barry University baseball team wrapped up the 2010 season on Saturday night with an 11-1 loss to the Miami Hurricanes.
For the second night in a row, the Bucs struggled against the solid pitching of the Canes. Miami’s pitchers combined for 16 strikeouts and only allowed three Buccaneer hits.

Miami scored one more in the first off a Zeke DeVoss single that scored Nathan Melendres.
The Bucs (32-19) lone run came in the fourth inning when Drew Dwelly was walked, stole second and reached third on an error, and scored on a wild pitch.
The Canes went on to score five more runs including four in the eighth. DeVoss hit a solo homer and moments later David Villasuso jacked a two-RBI blast to left to score Scott Lawson and Stephen Perez.
