Barry senior shortstop Nick Shaw (St. Petersburg, Fla.) has been named Sunshine State Conference Baseball Co-Player Of The Week for the period ending, April 18. Shaw split the award with Nova Southeastern's Rhys Roberts.
Shaw batted .438 with eight RBI and five runs to lead the Buccaneers to a 2-2 weekly record including wins over #2 Tampa. Shaw hit safely, scored at least one run, and drove in a run in all four games. He tallied multiple RBIs in three outings and twice notched multiple hits. Posting a .688 slugging percentage, Shaw pounded two doubles and a triple. For the week, he recorded a .571 OBP and a .960 fielding percentage.
