In partnership with the University of Miami School of Medicine, the Miami Area Geriatric Education Center (MAGEC) and the Miami VA Medical Center, Barry University's School of Social Work invites the Barry community and the local community to attend this three-part workshop that will focus on clinical work with caregivers of elderly clients.
Each Friday, for three consecutive weeks, the workshop will focus on a specific area of caregiving with elderly clients. The main topics to be featured include "Diversity Issues in Caregiving," "When Caregiving is the Problem," and "Shades of Gray: Managing Ethical Conflicts and Dilemmas in Work with Caregivers."
