PI Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and Barry University invite you to attend the event

Sunday of Hope

benefitting St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital

Date: Sunday, April 3

Time: 11 a.m. Mass

Location: Cor Jesu Chapel

Kappa Alpha Psi adopted St. Jude as its national philanthropy in 2005. Two years later,
the Sunday of Hope program was created for the fraternity to raise funds and awareness for the
hospital.

This program allows churches around the country to become partners with St. Jude by
hosting a Sunday of Hope service. During a dedicated service, members visit churches around
their communities sharing the St. Jude story with the congregation, asking for a special offering
that goes towards the life-saving research and treatment for the patients at St. Jude.

Sunday of Hope has raised more than $1 million since it started, but this year the
organization hopes to raise $800,000. This amount would bring the organization’s giving total to
St. Jude to $1,911,000 million, which would commemorate the year 1911 when the fraternity
was founded. Kappa Alpha Psi is marking its centennial anniversary this year.

Sunday of Hope is vital to continuing the lifesaving work taking place at St. Jude. St.
Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not
covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay.
St. Jude also provides transportation costs and local living expenses during treatment for the
patient and one parent, and assists with meal costs while the family is in Memphis. With
operating costs at $1.6 million a day, the children and families of St. Jude need your help.
