The Center for Advanced Learning (CAL) Program invites the Barry community to participate in the fifth annual
Celebration of Commitment
Date: Thursday, Sept. 1
Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Cor Jesu Chapel
The service will be held for all CAL students, tutors and mentors and is open to family, friends and campus community.
CAL provides support to Barry students with diagnosed learning disabilities and/or ADHD, helping them to achieve the most from their learning experience at Barry.
During this annual commissioning ceremony, tutors and mentors will make a commitment to support CAL students in their learning while CAL students will make a commitment to their academic studies.
This interfaith service will be led by Fr. Marcelo Solarzano OP and Dr. Phyllis Sandals with music from Sister Mary Frances Fleischaker, OP, a student solo and recognition of students who were awarded the first Sr. Arlene Scott CAL Scholarships.
The Barry community is invited to join us as we celebrate and join in fellowship together.
