Our Staff Cares

Lori Huertas, Barry’s Regional Recruitment Manager of Melbourne and Central Florida, is an Army mom and an ambitious, bilingual professional who is helping military families transform their lives. On top of her passion for helping couples with some of the unique and extraordinary challenges of military relationships, Lori is also co-author of The Christian Therapist Notebook — a counseling guidebook for therapists and patients. A strong proponent of education, she’s currently pursuing her PhD in Human Services with Military Families specialization.

Lori believes in actively giving back to those around her, and is an avid volunteer supporting the USO, Blue Star Families, Children’s Hunger Project, Early Learning Coalition, and Partners in Education. She further gives of her time as an Ambassador for Melbourne Chamber of Commerce, and also serves on the Board of Directors for Brevard Cares. We appreciate and are proud of her strides in community involvement and in supporting our nation’s military and their families!

On Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 10am – 12pm EST, Lori will host a USO Virtual Event – The Five Love Languages: Military Edition. Based on the New York Times Bestseller, this event is open to all who are affected by or interested in the unique struggles of military couples. Complimentary copies of the book will be provided to the first 10 registrants who attend!
